Flowers' Lil' Eden

About 7 years ago, we settled here in Doerun, Georgia. Our love for animals and the desire to be self sufficient led us to acquire lots of different kinds of livestock. Our little farm now includes chickens, ducks, a pig!, quail, dogs, parrots, and Nigerian Dwarf goats!

For 2009, we are just beginning to grow our little herd of registered Nigerian Dwarfs. We presently have our herd sire, Bucky, and his three ladies. Mercy, Joy, and Grace. They have come to live with us in just the last few months.  We hope to have babies available in the coming year.

We also have our special pet wether, Buster Brown. He has been through two different surgeries, spending a week at Auburn University. A hard lesson learned about castrating too soon and improper diet. Buster survived with flying colors and is doing well. He requires daily care and cleaning due to the surgery called "marsupalization" .

 He is our miracle boy, and our vets' favorite mascot!

We also have Miss B, a buckskin tri-color Nigerian Dwarf. Although purebred, Miss B doesn't have papers and is mainly our pet girl. She was bottle raised along with Buster Brown, so they are best buddies. Her kids will be available in the next year or so, although will not be registered.
